About Us
Jacqueline's sits at the heart of the historic former market town of Warminster in an essentially Georgian building with timbers that date it back to the days of Henry VIII. In its time the building is believed to have been an apothecary's, a bakery and more recently a dress shop. The conversion to a restaurant happened about 30 years ago.
Mark Brassington and Jacqui Tatnall opened Jacqueline's Restaurant and Tea Rooms in February 1999, and just 19 months later won two West Country Cooking Awards - Best Tea Room in the West 2001 and Best Tea Room in Wiltshire 2001. We revamped the restaurant in January 2009 and renamed ourselves Jacqueline's Bistro to reflect our style of cooking.
Jacqueline's believe that food should be enjoyed by the whole family, and children are very welcome. Special dietary requirements and needs can be catered for, with wheat-free options a regular feature.
